Toro Hvit Saus – Norwegian White Sauce Mix, 36g

Norway’s classic white sauce — Toro’s beautiful take on béchamel. Delicious, versatile, and incredibly easy to make. Just add milk and you have a rich, creamy white sauce in minutes. Perfect as a base for gratins, pasta, fish, or vegetables.

Preparation

1. Pour contents into a saucepan and add 7 dl (about 3 cups) of milk.
2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wire whisk.
3. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.

Tip: For a gratin sauce, stir in 5 tablespoons of grated cheese.

Ingredients

Flour, starch (corn, potato), salt, egg yolk, sugar, canola oil, onion, spices, mustard seeds.
