The traditional Heidal cheese is made the old-fashioned way, in molds made by a local woodcarver.
Heidal's brown cheese is mild, sweet, rich and round in taste.
Brown cheese can be used for so much more than as a topping.
Try stirring some brown cheese into the oatmeal or the game sauce, or use it for ice cream, waffles or in the bread dough. You can also spread some lefs with butter, brown cheese and crispy cured ham, and serve as finger food in nice rolls.
