The Drunken Goat is a pasteurized goat’s milk cheese from the Murcia region of Spain. This smooth, creamy cheese is aged briefly, then immersed in Monastrell wine for at least 72 hours — resulting in a vivid purple rind and a tangy, fruity finish. After the wine bath, it’s aged an additional 75 days for full maturation.
A bold statement on any cheese board with its striking purple rind and dreamy, creamy texture. Pairs beautifully with wine, figs, crisp crackers, and charcuterie.
Ingredients: Pasteurized goat’s milk, salt, calcium chloride, rennet, cheese cultures. Rind bathed in Monastrell wine.
