Pasta of the Prairie’s Savory Stroganoff Meal Kit uses their Italian Herb Pasta (made with a blend of oregano, thyme, basil, and rosemary in the dough). Their standard pasta shape across meal kits and packs, including this one, is hearty fusilli—the tight spiral shape that holds sauces well.

Just Add:

  4 Tbsp butter

  8 oz sirloin steak strips

  8 oz sliced mushrooms

  ½ cup dry white wine or beef broth

  ½ cup sour cream

 

Cooking Instructions (Ready in Under 30 Minutes!)

1.  Boil the Star of the Show
Bring 4–6 quarts of water to a rolling boil. Toss in your flavorful
Italian Herb fusilli and cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain, set aside, and get ready for saucy magic!

2.  Sizzle the Steak
In a large skillet, melt
2 Tbsp butter over medium heat. Add the sirloin strips and sauté until they reach your perfect doneness. Remove and set aside. (Steak’s taking a quick nap!)

3.  Mushroom Madness
In the same skillet, melt the remaining
2 Tbsp butter. Throw in the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 7 minutes until golden and juicy. Drain off any extra liquid so things don’t get watery.

4.  Sauce Time, Baby!
In a bowl, whisk together the
seasoning packet, 1½ cups water, and your ½ cup wine (or broth). Pour this fragrant mixture into the mushrooms. Let it simmer and bubble for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
